Giving Back With The Felix Project
Laura Przybek
This World Food Day we’re using our platform to highlight the need to build a sustainable world where everyone, everywhere has regular access to enough nutritious food.
4.7 million adults in the UK struggle to afford to eat every day and 2 million children are at risk of missing their next meal, and these numbers are only increasing with global economic uncertainty brought about by the pandemic and international tensions.
At Skedulo we pride ourselves on our heart, and as a company we choose to do more, we want to leave the world a better place. Globally, we partner with organisations that do good and after a long search in the UK we’re thrilled to announce our partnership with The Felix Project.
The Felix Project believes in a vision of London where no-one goes hungry and good food is never wasted - they are choosing to win the fight against food waste and hunger in London.
Our UK employees have 120 days of combined paid leave to volunteer and support the Felix Project and they’ll use this time to prepare food packages and make a difference to the distribution chain in depots, vans or on walking and cycling routes delivering food to those that need it most.
